BIOGRAPHY:
Known in real life as Ishmael Opoku-Acheampong, Diojo has being in the music industry for a while now and has contributed in making many other artiste super stars. Talk about Tinny’s “Ofeedoo”, ‘Makola Kwake”, “Dromo’; Oj Blaq’s ‘Galanja” which featured ASEM; 5five’s “African Girls’ which obviously has being their only hit song as a group and won the discovery and Afro Pop song of the year 08 at the GMA(Ghana Music Award 2008) among others. Diojo’s dynamic, sleek and soft voice is always noticed any time he is behind the microphone or is featured in a track when he spells the name ‘D I O J O’ as an introduction to either his verse or main chorus. Probably many of us who might have heard his voice on the above songs will easily recollect that silky voice on majority of hit songs in the industry. DIOJO carries rich culture and originality in his music, image and brand, portraying where he comes from Ghana. It is proven by the choice of lyrics and beat used by the artiste in all his songs.
