KABENA KWABENA SET FOR OCT.18th WITH SARKODIE

Kwabena Kwabena the admired high life singer, is set to return on the blissful day of his life, his birthday Oct 17th with a new single which features Sarkodie.

The song is the usual style of the High Life singer, a story of him dealing with a relationship problem but this time it speaks on certain areas of his personal life.
Spotted on the Late Night Celebrity show, the singer disclosed that his new album will be coming next year, but in order not to keep his fans staving, he has prepared a huge package for them on Oct 17th 2010.

“I have gone through many challenges these few times, many thought it will take a toll on my career but thanks be to God Almighty, I grow stronger and heavier with my song every time”, Kwabena told the host of the late night celebrity show, Sammy forson.

A freestyle form the singer got everyone, those on set and viewers across the world, asking for more, as text messages response and in house behavior from the co guest Roger Quartey and the host Sammy Forson proved the richness of the new single.

His ideas never run out as a high life/hip life artiste and when he is on the Guitar, he understands every string he pulls to give a specific sound. Kwabena’s ability to link his voice to his guitar, is amazing, one word Sammy Forson could not stop using during his interaction with the singer.

The new single from Kwabena has Ghana’s fastest rapper, Sarkodie, who delivered commercial ‘TWI’ on the track, as once again he (Sarkodie) has proven why he can’t be touched in the industry when it comes to love songs, whether apologizing or proposing.

A song recorded by Martin (Beat Producer), mixed and mastered by UBEATS/ Hubert, the fingers behind majority of hits in the country inside ‘Suokora’, Accra is set to be released on the cheerful day in the life of the musician.

Come the seventeenth day in the tenth month, of the year, a new single will be outdoor to the world from Kwabena Kwabena, whose ‘Bibini’ album is doing so well in the industry.

To catch the new single on your favorite radio station you will need a to get a radio by you and to do that is easy, book the day on your calendar, so you will not forget.

NANA BOROO TURNS ACTOR, SINCE MUSIC IS THORNY

For the second time running Nana Osei Bonsu, musically known as Nana Boroo or B’ross has been caught acting in a movie.
The musician whose hard times are near with regards to his music career crashing, probably is being man enough to try acting if music is being complicated.

Nana Boroo was caught in the movies, “The Game” and “Seduction”, he played minor roles in both movies. In the movie, “The Game”, the musician was put to play a shop attendant role accompanied by his female counterpart in a jewelry shop.

Rumors have it that the jewelry shop used in that movie belonged to a family member of the musician, but could that be why he was used in that scene, to protect the shop?

Also in the movie, ‘Seduction’ Nana Boroo played a minor role as been part of a movie production house. “No Comment”, the only words the musician said in the movie.
Is being a musician been complex for the one time hit maker or is he trying to prove his adaptability in the entertainment industry, probably, Nana Boroo is trying to test all waters to find out which of them is good.

So far so bad for him in the music industry, he is finding hard times to survive in the game and who knows, after playing two minor roles continuously, some directors will try him as a supporting lead actor very soon, if he proves his worth in his new found love.

Nana Osei Bonsu, is not the only musician to be in the movie industry and still doing active music. If traces are taken from the foreign artistes, majority of them produce, act and finance movies but those musicians still have they music career intact, hence the movies boost their music.

An artiste proves beyond all odds that he is versatile, when he does different genres in the music industry and he is accepted, but not when he can hardly find his feet in the music industry, decides to try movies.

Is it a sign in disguise for fans of the ‘AHAYEDE MAN’ that he is gradually trying the movie industry to find out if he can survive there, since he would not have to write his script or compose a movie sound bite over there?

All characters in a movie are feed with a good script, so with good facial expressions and perfect body language, one can stand in front of a camera and recite his script, and then he will be called an actor.

It is possible that industry will work for B’ross, he looked cool in those two movies he played a role and above all he had a good facial expression plus a perfect body language with enough command over his script in the movie, “SEDUCTION”.

You are still in the entertainment industry B’ross, so ‘Kasee Vim’ and ‘Afe Yema Wo Vim’ to try acting if been a musician is getting thorny.

ZIGI PERFORMS ‘MAGIC’ BUT GOES WITH EAZZY.

Astoundingly ‘Raise your Hands’ by Zigi, from Lynx Entertainment is the only song to have been ‘Flashed’ and later ‘Pushed’ by listeners of Y107.9fm’s show Drive of Your life in their Face the music segment of the show.

If a song is flashed on that show it means listeners do not want to hear it again and it should not be added to the GH songs played on that show.
When it is pushed, it actually means listeners wants to hear it over and over again; hence it should be added to the GH songs played on that show.

The song was actually “flashed” on the first day it was aired but on the next day received a “Push”.
What must have done the magic or did people change their mind on the song, could it be that they did not listen to it well, probably Lynx Entertainment put people in place to ‘Push’ it, well the song ‘Magically’ became a push and is now enjoying some good response.

A review of the song from the Lynx signed singer shows that it has traces of Ezzay’s “Wegeze”, same pattern and arrangement.
What is the plan this time from Lynx Entertainment, is it to use the same promotional strategy Eazzy used to break through for Zigi?

During an interview with Sammy Forson on the Late Night Celebrity show, Kwaku Sarpong Plah, musically known as ‘Zigi’, popularly known as “You Say Wey Tin” said that ‘Raise Your Hands’ is just the single to pave away for the hit album.

He also added that, he worked so hard on the upcoming album, featuring top shots like Okyeame Kwame, Ezzay, Tinny, Asem, OJ Blaq, Richie, among others.
Explaining how he had the name ZIGI, the singer could not actually remember how it all happen but knew it was from way back.

“Honesty, I don’t remember how I had the name Zigi, he told the host of the show, but all I know is that the name has been there since childhood, specifically primary education”.

Zigi, who admitted of cheating while in a relationship, by kissing another girl freckly and also throwing a knock out into his head masters office during his primary education, told Ghanaians to expect another “MAGIC” coming their way soon.

Single and Shy singer, Zigi, just remember, the fact that your magical song, ‘Raise Your Hands’ sounds like Ezzay, Ghanaians might Jam to it but don’t you think when the song is played Ezzay will be remembered and not you.
