The hip Life/Apro pop music duet Blaq Suede has made it to the 4Syte TV music Video Awards 2010, scheduled for the 20th of November at the International conference Center.
Blaq Suede with songs like Take Control, “Tayataya” and ‘Mewuraba’ the group enjoyed massive airplay last year from radio, TV and Online earning them the nomination.
Camping in the category, Best Reggae video, the group is knocking heads with Shasha Marley and the rest, but they are not looking forward for a disappointment.
“We know the value of the song, it is a clear fact that the song stands out, matching an equal good well conceptual video, so yes we hope to grab the award, Diojo” told us.
It has been long overdue for Ghanaians to recognize and acknowledge the difference between a good work and shoddy work.
The easiest way to do that now, is to vote the song ‘Memuraba’ to win this year’s best reggae Video at the upcoming 4syte TV Music Awards 2010 by texting the song to 1924 on your Vodafone and all other networks.
“The story is told of three friends planning the secret and surprise bridal ceremony for another friend. Boys put together a typical traditional setting and atmosphere blending it with the western kind of bridal ceremonies.
Just like their type of music, a fusion of western and traditional (Local), Blaq Suede showed a touch of class in their traditional wedding ceremony, meaning the video explained the wealthiest reason why they should win the category.
Fans are of the view that, may be after they have voted the group to win the category, the two, made up of Dickson Williams and Ishmael Opoku Acheampong might come back together.
Well no one knows the kind of miracle an award such as the 4syte TV music Award for best reggae video category will change, so why don’t you vote the song, “Mewuraba” to 1924 on your Vodafone and all other networks, now.
